What is the job about? 
The Material Planner is the main point of contact  and connection between vendor and production site requirements. Responsible to coordinate, organize, control implementation of all actions needed to have purchased part in time and qty required base on customer demand and leveling production through SAP system. Manage purchased parts stock base on DOS and SUC targets.  Stablish windows deliveries with shipping , warehousing and vendors. Contribute with CI ideas. Provide purchase orders and forecast to vendors assigned . Evaluate vendors monthly . High master data quality on SAP.No generation of slow movers. This position reports directly to Supply Chain Manager and will operate Onsite in our San Luis Potosí, MX offices.
 

Your main responsibilities: 

  • Analyze purchased parts requirements, master data, place orders, daily tracking  to all deliveries, mark status AB & LA on each PO. Solve incomming issues. Solve problems of blocking Invoices together with the owner of unblocking invoices in SC
  • Send forecast to the vendors, evaluate vendor performance as PPO according GPS.
  • Usage of GPS methodology on daily activities
  • Control, manage, implement actions to have right levels of stock in the plant.No generation of slow mover materials
  • Reduce AF & production shutdowns  
  • Daily routines as a daily basis to identify risk or adjusts if necessary / “Clean up & Daily procedures”. Ensure high master data quality within area of responsibility


Your background: 
We imagine that you have:  

  • Industrial Engineer, Bachelor of Business Administration or similar
  • Over 2 years of experience in a Material Plannig role
  • Knowledge in ERP system (SAP)
  • Advance office and windows management. Excel (pivot table, functions
  • Fluent English
