Smith & Associates knows electronic components inside and out. We use that knowledge to offer procurement and supply chain services to electronic manufacturers. As the top independent distributor, we are looking for quick, independent, motivated, and talented people to join our expert international team to help customers save money and keep their production going.

POSITION SUMMARY

Provide administrative support to the sales team.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Provide support to key accounts and customers by setting up new customers and creating/entering new purchase orders.
• Work alongside various teams, such as the purchasing team for sourcing needs and pricing, the sales team for reporting and the operations team for shipping.
• Schedule office meetings and interviews.
• Conduct market industry research.
• Provide support on administrative office tasks such as making sure cleaning, food and paper supplies for the office are covered. As well as plan local office events, including employee outings, social responsibility activities, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 1 year experience in the industry
• Bachelor’s in International Trade, Business Administration, or related field
• Fluent in English (conversational/ written)
• Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills
• Prior administrative support experience preferred
• Tech Savvy
