This role is critical in driving manufacturing efficiency and ensuring effective supply chain execution by leveraging the capabilities of SAP PPDS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) within SAP APO and S/4HANA environments.Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure and optimize SAP PPDS to support advanced production planning and detailed scheduling processes, including setup of planning heuristics, product planning, and resource modeling.Integrate PPDS with SAP APO and S/4HANA systems, ensuring seamless data synchronization and process flow across planning, execution, and supply chain functions.Analyze capacity constraints and scheduling challenges, utilizing PPDS tools to identify bottlenecks, optimize resource utilization, and improve production efficiency.Collaborate closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and IT teams to align system capabilities with business requirements, and continuously enhance planning accuracy and responsiveness.Provide functional support and troubleshooting for PPDS-related issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the production planning domain.Participate in end-to-end solution design, testing, and deployment of planning processes as part of SAP transformation or optimization projects.RequirementsProven experience in configuring and supporting SAP PPDS within SAP APO and/or S/4HANA.Strong understanding of production planning, capacity scheduling, and manufacturing processes.Experience with CIF (Core Interface), master data management, and integration between ECC/S/4HANA and APO/PPDS.Ability to analyze complex planning scenarios and propose effective, system-supported solutions.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working cross-functionally across manufacturing and supply chain teams.DetailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Information TechnologyIndustries: IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
