Role Provides day‑to‑day technical and administrative support for logistics staff and activities. What You’ll Do Tracking and reporting on activities, costs and expenditures for all transportation modes. Verifying documents and checklists are accurate and complete. Notifying customers of shipping or receiving schedules and any logistics problems. Communicating effectively with shippers, carriers and CAT facilities on load’s status. Collaborating with transportation partners on maintaining loads updated with accurate ETAs and milestones. Education Required Bachelor’s degree or undergraduate degree related to a Supply Chain field of choice. Fluent English (Intermediate to Advanced). Key Skills Accountability Complete assigned tasks and seek help when necessary. Maintain a positive attitude to achieve objectives. Deliver assignments according to established quality standards. Follow directions regarding time and effort required to meet work objectives. Possess practical background and expertise in similar roles involving planning, negotiation, and customer service, preferably within the transportation sector. Accuracy and Attention to Detail Ensure accuracy in assigned functions and tasks. Identify activities that require attention to detail. Apply procedures to guarantee error‑free results. Prevent mistakes that could impact the unit or function. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools to ensure accuracy in reporting and analysis. Planning and Organizing Adjust priorities when conditions change or new information arises. Accurately estimate time and resources needed to complete tasks. Define key assignments, schedules, and process steps. Apply the concept of “critical path” to meet deadlines and keep larger projects on track. Demonstrated expertise in planning and organizing operational and/or logistical processes. Service Excellence Provide customer service that meets high-quality standards. Recognize and avoid poor or mediocre service practices. Manage customer perceptions and expectations to enhance service delivery. Contribute to business benefits derived from delivering exceptional service. Strong background in customer service and negotiation to ensure effective and satisfactory relationships.
