We are also advancing permitting and development on our South Railroad Project, a feasibility-stage, open-pit heap leach project located on the prolific Carlin trend in Nevada. This project is part our larger South Carlin Complex which includes a prospective land package. We recently acquired the Musselwhite Mine located in Northern Ontario on Lake Opapimiskan, a gold mine with more than 25 years of operating history. The addition of Musselwhite has allowed Orla to more than double our gold production and provide a strategic entry into a Tier 1 mining jurisdiction. We are seeking a motivated Millwright to join our Maintenance Team.ResponsibilitiesCarry out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenanceAbility to work both on surface and underground on stationary equipment.Tasks include laser alignment, component rebuild & replacement, welding, fabrication, bearingassembly and setting of clearances, contamination control and asset lubrication.Ensure work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner and provide input directed at improving the safety, efficiency and overall effectiveness of the Maintenance and Reliability department.Provide input to Maintenance and Reliability improvementParticipate in all aspects of maintenance shutdowns.Education and ExperienceThe candidate must be a Certified Journeyperson-Millwright, with a current CWB welding ticket, or ability to gain CWB certification within one year of hire date.Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an ore processing environment associated with crushing, grinding, gravity concentration, dewatering, leach/CIP, stripping, conveying, refining an hoisting.Ability to lift, carry and push 50 with assistance.Ability to constantly reach below, above, and at-shoulderAbility to work at-heights and in confined Strong commitment to working in a safe, socially responsibleDemonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, desktop computingThe candidate must be a self-directed team player, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong attention to detail.Working ConditionsThe schedule for this position will consist of 14 days on and 14 days off, 12 hours per dayCompensationThe salary for this position is CAD $138,176 per year, depending on skills, experience, andThe Company offers a Defined Contribution Pension Plan (DCPP), including an automatic 5% employer contribution, with the option for employees to receive up to an additional 4% employer match on employee contributions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
