The Data Factory Lead — Scent is a senior, cross‑functional data leader responsible for data stewardship and quality across multiple domains (Product, Customer, R&D, Regulatory, Sales, etc.), ensuring compliance with IFF’s governance framework. This role will define stewardship operating models, enforce data quality rules, and leverage IFF’s technology ecosystem for governance, cataloging, and analytics. Accelerating innovation through data, technology and digital transformation, building intelligent solutions that enhance experiences and power smarter decisions. The role is based in Tlalnepantla, Mexico City. As a Data Lead, you will implement IFF’s data governance operating model, establish clear accountability for data quality, and ensure compliance across domains. You will operationalize critical data elements, monitor quality indicators, and enable technology solutions for governance and analytics. This position requires strong expertise in metadata management, compliance, and integration across ERP, custom applications, and analytics platforms. Business Unit (Scent) Our Scent business blends science and creativity to craft fragrances that delight consumers across fine fragrance, personal care, and home categories. We partner closely with perfumers, R&D, regulatory experts, and commercial teams to bring breakthrough scent solutions to market responsibly and at scale. Responsibilities Drive data governance and stewardship across multiple domains. Define and enforce data quality rules and remediation processes. Enable technology adoption for governance, cataloging, and analytics. Maintain metadata standards and ensure compliance with privacy and security policies. Qualifications Proven experience in data governance and stewardship across multiple domains. Familiarity with SAP MDG, Snowflake, Power BI, and MDM tools. Hands‑on experience with data cataloging and lineage tools (Atlan). Strong understanding of real‑time data processing and integration frameworks. How You Can Stand Out Expertise in data quality profiling tools such as Great Expectations, Attacama, and Informatica Data Quality. Experience with integration and automation tools like Fivetran and DBT. Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP S/4, ECC) and custom applications built on AWS.
