This role oversees all sourcing activities and events, ensuring a smooth and compliant contracting process. Also, executes sourcing activities for assigned categories in close collaboration with the P&P E team, with a focus on the Americas region, while keeping the Indirect/Industrial Spend category team informed of local business needs and priorities. The position supports cost optimization within the indirect category (and direct, when local support is required), works to sustain or improve quality and delivery, and helps maintain or reduce supply chain risks. This position will lead and actively participate in sourcing execution events, finding better and more competitive alternative suppliers, follow‑up the supplier registration, source indirect activities. With direct contact with the suppliers focusing on Operational Activities.Principal ReponsibilitiesManagement of Sourcing Execution events to find better offers and servicesLead meetings and different activities in the Sourcing Execution area in LAM/NAM Region under the direct supervision and with the involvement of local stakeholders and sometimes with X-functional colleagues from Finance / Legal / ProductionFollow Contracts’ management with Legal and Finance stakeholders and support Suppliers with AP related Payment topicsKey ChallengesProblem resolution, timely delivery tracking, negotiation with suppliers and usersNo deliveries or response from the supplier, suppliers’ documentation, resolve critical urgenciesRequirementsBachelors Degree, MBA is desiredSpanish & English communication, both written and spokenAt least 2 years of experience negotiating with suppliersInternational exposure with preference on contract management experienceFMCG, or production business exposure would be desiredExperience in customer service area is desiredUnderstanding of production and engineering processesBIC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
