You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 4+ years of professional experience developing backend solutions using Java (21+) and Spring Boot. Strong experience building and maintaining monolithic backend applications following clean architecture principles. Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL and in‑memory data stores such as Redis. Proven experience working with AWS services, including S3, ECS, CloudWatch, and Bedrock. Experience using MyBatis as an ORM and Liquibase for database versioning and migrations. 2+ years of professional experience with Angular (v19 or similar), strong usage of RxJS and Observables. Familiarity with frontend monolith architectures and modern client‑side frameworks. Advanced knowledge of Git and version control best practices. Advanced English proficiency is required, as you will work directly with US‑based clients. You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities: Participate in collaborative concept definition, architectural refinement, and software design across backend and frontend layers. Design, build, and maintain scalable monolithic applications using Java 21 and Spring Boot. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate them with Angular frontend applications using RxJS and Observables. Implement and manage data persistence using PostgreSQL, MyBatis, Liquibase, and Redis. Work with AWS infrastructure services (S3, ECS, CloudWatch, Bedrock) to support application deployment, monitoring, and observability. Follow Agile practices, working independently while collaborating closely with a cross‑functional team. Maintain high‑quality technical documentation throughout the SDLC.
