You will ensure our clients' tax obligations are handled with the utmost integrity and accuracy while fostering strong relationships through effective communication. We seek a professional who thrives in a digital environment and can navigate the complexities of U.S. tax law with confidence.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and file federal and state tax returns for clients, ensuring adherence to current tax regulationsReview client financials to identify tax-saving opportunities and compliance issuesMaintain organized records in alignment with IRS requirements, ready for audits if necessaryCommunicate effectively via email with clients to gather needed information and clarify tax-related questionsUtilize Canopy CRM to manage tax projects efficiently, translating client communications into actionable tasksCollaborate with team members on tax-related projects and deadlinesMonitor client inbox and respond to inquiries or delegate tasks as necessaryStay informed on changes in tax legislation and implement these updates into client practicesRequirementsProven experience as a US Tax Accountant, preferably with 3+ years in tax preparation for individuals and businesses Active CPA or EA credential Deep knowledge of federal and state tax regulationsStrong analytical skills with a focus on detail-oriented tax processingExceptional written communication skills to effectively engage with clients via emailProficiency in Canopy CRM or similar tax technology platformsAbility to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating with a diverse teamStrong organizational skills to manage multiple clients and deadlines efficientlyBonus If YouHave experience with Canopy CRM for client managementAre comfortable managing the tax lifecycle for a varied portfolio of clientsHave a background working with startups or service-based businessesBenefitsCompetitive salary (USD)Work From HomeFlexible hours #J-18808-Ljbffr
