POSITION SUMMARYThe Regional Manager, Asset Protection is a strategic business partner directly responsible for protecting the assets of the Company by leading all Asset Protection efforts within region by focusing on Team Development, Business Partnerships, Brand Protection, Firearm Safety, Profit Enhancement, and Theft / Fraud elimination.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSAttract, develop, coach, lead, and retain a group of direct and indirect reports that drive the AP initiatives that support the companies' direction.Set strategies for the region to ensure the safety and security of people and property.Focus on Business Partnerships, Brand Protection, Firearm Safety, Profit Enhancement, and Theft / Fraud elimination.Drive inventory shrink reduction to minimize or eliminate bottom line loss in retail.Improve AP execution in the region through data analytics, partnership support, tactical planning, and leadership.Promote Asset Protection Awareness and accountability to protect employees, guests, and the bottom line.Communicate consistently with key stakeholders to identify issues, resolve problems, inspire execution, and coach appropriately.Develop partnerships with Senior Store Management, Regional counterparts, and Corporate leaderships.ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED / EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONSPreferred Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Criminal Justice from an accredited institution.Certificates or Licenses: National certified training program (Wicklander-Zuwalski or Reed training).Experience: 6–8 years.Demonstrated experience conducting and closing retail investigations in person and remotely.Experience using physical security systems (CCTV, EAS, etc.).Ability to lead, train, motivate and provide guidance to remote teams.Experience conducting quality reviews / audits.Ability to cultivate and develop strong relationships.Ability to travel and lead store visits.Travel Requirements: Approximately 50%.Physical Requirements: Regular computer work, sitting, occasional walking, standing and lifting.Independent judgment: Develops strategic direction, goals, plans and policies for an area of responsibility; sets broad objectives and is accountable for overall results; authority to make independent decisions on matters of significance; requires high degree of independent judgment and problem solving of complex problems.BenefitsEnjoy discounts on retail merchandise, restaurant, world-class resorts, and conservation attractions.Fun work environment.Competitive wages.Excellent benefits.Unlimited career advancement opportunities.Bass Pro Shops & Cabela's welcomes applications from people with disabilities.
