The Opportunity Our ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) application simplifies data workflows and empowers organizations to extract insights faster. As a Senior DevOps Engineer you’ll design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient AWS infrastructure, collaborate across teams, and accelerate our development cycle. Technical Skills 5+ years of DevOps or related experience, with at least 3 years focused on AWS. Expertise in EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, CloudFormation/Terraform. Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar. Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild, GitHub Actions). Monitoring and observability (CloudWatch, Grafana, ELK). Networking concepts: VPC, VPN, load balancers, firewalls. Collaboration & Communication Strong English communication skills (B2 or higher) and ability to work in cross‑functional teams. What You’ll Do Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, reliable, secure AWS infrastructure. Implement best practices for cost optimization, high availability, and security. Automate deployment and provisioning using CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform. Deploy monitoring, logging, and alerting with CloudWatch, ELK, Datadog, or Prometheus. Ensure compliance with IAM policies, encryption, and vulnerability management. Location Requirement: Candidates must be based in Mexico. Only resumes submitted in English will be considered. The role is fully remote with flexibility to work anywhere, but requires alignment with Eastern Standard Time business hours. First 30 Days Set up development environment and AWS infrastructure. Familiarize with tech stack, CI/CD infrastructure. Meet stakeholders and contribute to pull requests. First 60 Days Implement improvements to monitoring, alerting, and logging. Assess existing workflows and propose actionable improvements. Contribute to DevOps roadmap and upcoming projects. First 90 Days Own a large infrastructure initiative. Ensure uptime for critical services. Mentor and lead within the DevOps domain. Deliver measurable improvements in automation and processes. Benefits Market‑leading compensation package.
