Join us for the opportunity to influence how Amazon Music engages fans, artists, and creators on a global scale.Key responsibilitiesUnderstanding how all elements of the Voice and mobile Experience ecosystem work together and developing QA approaches that fit the overall strategyDevelop and execute manual & automated tests and test plansEfficiently execute test cases across all functional areas of our productsFinding, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolutionInterpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development processWork with Software Development Engineers to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implementedEnsure the highest quality product delivery, working with a team of quality engineering professionalsEvaluate product functionality and create test strategies and test cases to assess product qualityAbout The TeamAs the QAE on the Amazon Music Internationalization QA Team, you will be responsible for leading the effort to invent and improve the ways that customers can ask for what they want to hear in Amazon Music Unlimited, Prime Music or Ad-supported Free Tier in international markets. You will lead the efforts to ensure that the Quality of the Amazon Music Experience is the best. The ideal candidate is interested in being part of an agile team, passionate about innovating for customers, and has a demonstrable track record of success in delivering new features and products. A commitment to team work, hustle, and strong communication skills (to both business and technical partners) are absolute requirements. You should be a person that pays close attention to details and is driven to deliver solutions that delight customers.Basic Qualifications2+ years of quality assurance engineering experienceExperience in automation testingExperience in manual testingExperience in UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI)Knowledge of QA methodology and toolsKnowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, Ruby or PerlSpeak, write, and read fluently in EnglishSpeak, write, and read fluently in JapanesePreferred QualificationsExperience in API & Mobile testingExperience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and controlExperience working with Voice AssistantsExperience working with teams in multiple time zonesSelf-directed, demonstrate leadership potential and a team playerExcellent written and oral communication skillsOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
