The successful candidate will inspire students to think critically and empathetically about human behavior while also helping them identify and pursue post‑secondary pathways aligned with their interests, strengths, and aspirations. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator and mentor who values personalized guidance, holistic education, and collaboration within a vibrant international school community.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Plan, prepare, and deliver high‑quality IB Psychology lessons aligned with the IB Diploma Programme framework and assessment criteria.Create an engaging learning environment that promotes critical thinking, research skills, and ethical awareness.Support students with Internal Assessments and Extended Essays related to Psychology, ensuring strong research design and academic integrity.Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with IB standards, providing clear and constructive feedback.Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum alignment and consistency across the IB programme.Provide academic guidance to students as needed in relation to university pathways and subject choices.Support elements of the university application process in collaboration with the College Counselling team.Participate in university events, information sessions, and parent workshops when required.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:A degree in Psychology, Education, Counselling, or a related field.A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).Experience teaching IB Psychology or a similar curriculum at the upper‑secondary level.Demonstrated experience in college counselling, academic advising, or university admissions.In‑depth knowledge of global higher education systems (North America, UK, Europe, and Latin America).Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide students and engage parents effectively.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Fluency in English (native or near‑native level); Spanish is an advantage.A genuine passion for supporting young people in both academic and personal growth.Enthusiasm for living and working in Latin America and contributing to a diverse, international school environment.SAFEGUARDING STATEMENTInspired Education Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment.
