We are currently seeking a Power BI Admin (Remote Mexico) to join our team in Monterrey, Nuevo León (MX‑NLE), Mexico (MX). Power BI and Cognos Admin JOB DUTIES Administrate the BI applications. Provide a stable production environment that meets performance needs and make adjustments as needed. Resolve production issues in a timely manner including on‑call support as needed and maintain audit/security. Provide regular and timely status reports / Communicate status of production issues in a timely manner. Coordinate with backup team members and IT monitoring departments to provide occasional after‑hours system support. Maintain and monitor all BI environments including development, test, production, and disaster recovery. Knowledge of debugging if job/event fails, failure of PCM/SCM dispatcher and patching. Experience working with deployment and versioning tool like Motio CI. Knowledge of Motio PI and ServiceNow. Knowledge %,of Power BI Administration activities including Deployment Pipeline, Data Connection creation and update, User and Group access provisioning, patching, deployment of dashboards and paginated reports. Qualifications: Overall 6 to 8 years’ experience in administrating the BI applications Required 3+ years of experience in Power BI administration and knowledge of creating dashboards Nice to have, but not mandatory: Good בעלי 3+ years of designing, developing, and administering Cognos applications. Experience should include maintenance and support activities, performance monitoring and tuning, upgrading versions and software configuration. Experience in general IT processes such as Change Management, Configuration Management, Problem Resolution, and Incident Tracking combined in general data warehouse and business intelligence report development. Must have worked on Windows. Advanced knowledge of report development, job/event creation, data models, and administration processes in an enterprise Business Intelligence tool such as IBM Cognრუნველs. Advanced knowledge of database software (Oracle, SQL Server, Informatica, etc.) as well as relational and OLAP database designs.
