OverviewQuality Control HeadResponsible for leading all quality inspection and control activities within the plant to ensure that aluminum blocks and processes meet internal standards and customer requirements. This role manages a team of inspectors and technicians, coordinates daily quality checks in production, and ensures effective containment, traceability, and communication of issues. The QC Head plays a critical role in protecting customers from defects and in supporting operations with fast response and robust control methods.Main ResponsibilitiesTeam & Daily Management: Lead, schedule, and develop QC inspectors and technicians across shifts, ensuring inspections, audits, and quality gates are properly executed with adequate staffing and training.Inspection & Control: Oversee dimensional, visual, and functional checks of aluminum blocks and processes, ensuring correct usage and calibration of measurement equipment, strict traceability, and effective management of nonconforming product.Problem Detection & Containment: React promptly to shop-floor nonconformities through containment and segregation, support root cause analysis and corrective actions, and ensure customer protection via robust verification and follow-up.Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to control plans, work instructions, and inspection standards, while reporting quality performance, defect trends, and inspection results to leadership and providing data for audits.Continuous Improvement & Culture: Identify recurring defects, propose process improvements, and foster quality awareness by supporting training programs and promoting discipline among production teams.Position RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).Experience: 5+ years of experience in quality control or manufacturing, preferably in automotiveStrong knowledge in inspection processes, gauges, and measurement systems.
