We want 6sense to be the best chapter of your career.Job Overview6sense is seeking a Resource Delivery Manager to build and lead a resource management function for the Professional Services organization. As the first Resource Delivery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing the strategy, processes, and systems that ensure the efficient and effective delivery of our Professional Services offerings. You will be responsible for managing the allocation and deployment of the professional services team members across customer engagements, ensuring that each one is staffed with the right talent at the right time. This position will report to the Director of Professional Services and be part of the wider GTM Operations team. This is an individual contributor position with the potential to grow into a manager position.Build the RM function Build a centralized resource management function for the Professional Services organization. Work closely with the Delivery Management team to develop processes, standard operating procedures, escalation procedures, and tools for effective resource management. Enablement on Resource Management processes across the PS org. Drive roadmap for the resource management tool. Work with PS management to develop a delivery partner program. Develop the strategy and future roles needed to scale resource management function. Earn the trust of the Delivery organization across all levels. Resource Allocation Review incoming engagements and assign resources based on engagement requirements, resource workload and availability, skill profiles, and experience. Maintain regular touch points with Delivery Management and Project Leads to review resource requests, new engagements, ongoing engagements, changes to schedules, PTO coverage. Maintain assignments and schedules in PSA system. Monitor and optimize utilization of resources with the goal of balancing work across the team. Consult with Delivery Management on strategic engagements, escalations, team and individual development goals, and allocation strategies. Manage resource allocation for pool of delivery partners on retainer‑based contract. Capacity Planning Analyze future demand in the pipeline and compare against existing capacity and hiring plans. Proactively identify capacity and or skills gap issues. Team Development Work with Delivery Management to develop process for capturing skills profiles on a regular basis. Develop processes to capture feedback on consultant’s performance on engagements. Work with Delivery Management and Enablement to develop plans for onboarding new hires and ongoing enablement. Provide input into performance reviews. Develop scorecard/performance reviews for contractors. Metrics and Reporting Implement and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the efficiency of resource utilization and the overall success of the resource delivery process. Provide regular reporting to Delivery Management on resource allocation, utilization, and any challenges or opportunities for improvement.
