Your work will support scalable and compliant compensation practices across Bain’s global operations.WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAMIn this operationally focused role, you’ll help deliver the infrastructure behind Bain’s compensation programs. You’ll act as a compensation data steward and system partner, ensuring that pay practices are driven by data, aligned to market benchmarks, and operationally sound.What You’ll DoMarket Pricing & BenchmarkingConduct market pricing for assigned functions using globally aligned methodologiesMatch Bain roles to survey roles and support consistency across marketsSupport compensation modeling and benchmarking projectsCompensation Systems, Data & AnalyticsManage job data and field configurations in WorkdayMaintain Bain’s job description and job evaluation toolsRun data extracts and build Excel-based models to support compensation decisionsPartner with HRIS and Finance teams to support data quality, audits, and system enhancementsHelp develop dashboards and cross-system reporting (e.g., Workday + Visier)Salary Structures & Pay ModelsAssist in maintaining pay structures and compensation gridsAnalyze internal and external data to inform compensation designSupport cost modeling for new roles, locations, or program changesMonitor year-over-year pay trends across marketsCompensation Review & Bonus AdministrationPrepare compensation data for annual and ad hoc review cyclesConduct data audits, build templates, and test Workday configurationsDevelop documentation, training tools, and process timelinesProvide support to HR during compensation cycles and liaise with Payroll and FinanceTrack and report on salary increases and bonus pool spendStakeholder Engagement & Continuous ImprovementSupport global compensation advisors and HR with scalable processes and toolsIdentify process improvement opportunities and drive knowledge managementMaintain internal content libraries and documentation on Bain’s CoE SharePointAdditional ResponsibilitiesSupport role mapping and global job architecture updatesMaintain Bain’s global job catalog and alignment with job frameworksConduct ad hoc analysis and support compensation-related special projectsResearch new technologies and tools for compensation operationsAbout YouBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required5+ years of compensation experience, preferably in a global or professional services settingExpertise in Excel (pivot tables, macros, formulas, arrays) and proficiency in PowerPointStrong analytical and data modeling skillsExperience using Workday and compensation tools (e.g., CompAnalyst, MarketPay)Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishProven ability to manage confidential data with discretionPreferredBackground in compensation operations and job architectureExperience with system integrations and dashboard/report developmentFamiliarity with compensation program compliance and executive comp #J-18808-Ljbffr
