Each of these experiences helps students to see beyond the classroom and to see the world – and themselves – in new ways.Job Description:We're looking for an Operations Coordinator & TD Support to join our dynamic team at WorldStridesIn this role, you'll be at the heart of our tour operations—securing reservations for iconic sites, attractions, and meals across exciting destinations from July to January, and then shifting gears to prepare and process trip packets from February to June. You’ll work closely with our Director of Operations and collaborate with teams that bring educational travel to life.If you thrive in fast-paced environments, love logistics, and want to be part of a mission-driven company that helps students explore the world—this is your chance.ResponsibilitiesWorking closely with Operations Coordinators to secure reservations in their assigned destinationsEnsure tour components are secured in a timely mannerContinually thinking of solutions that improve efficiencyManaging and meeting timelinesSending tasks to group TA’s for pre order requestsBook DC guidesHelp keep the supplier database currentReviewing Vendor Packets to ensure all reservations were made correctly and sufficient notes have been madeMarking packets as sent in M3 and emailing/ mailing them to the Tour DirectorManage ticket inventoryAny other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to timeQualificationsDemonstrated competitive spirit with a track record of winningMinimum 2-year college degree (or equivalent business experience) – business or hospitality industry preferredMinimum 1 year experience in managing reservationsAbility to work with little supervisionTruly able to remain calm in stressful situationsGoal- focused, self- sufficient individual who takes initiativeResponsive team playerExceptional work ethicProfessional appearanceStrong computer skills (i.e, Microsoft Word, Advanced Excel, Power Point).
