Job Overview The Scheduler is responsible for creating work orders, expediting and following up on production priorities, as well as creating, managing and strictly following regular schedules. The scheduler works alongside various upper management and internal personnel to create efficient plans for miscellaneous projects and overall work. The role also ensures the proper supply of raw materials for the Sensata Mexicali plant, using information from the ORACLE system, and maintains supplier relationships to avoid debts or overdue orders. General Responsibilities Supports the planning & scheduling of raw materials for production Monitors supplier delivery performance against the materials schedule Creates work orders, reviews messages, expediates, and follows up on production priorities and regular schedules Coordinates the internal processing and movement of materials from stores to the production line to meet manufacturing schedule requirements Organizes/tracks shipments for dispatch from the supply base to ensure on‑time delivery at the plant Maintains an optimum level of raw material inventory, ensuring the level of service required by the client Complies with Sarbox controls throughout the organization and escalates any non‑conformities Experience & Qualifications A university degree required (i.e., Bachelor’s degree) or equivalent relevant work experience Must be a team player able to work in a fast‑paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands Strong communication skills—oral, written, and presentation Strong organization, planning, and time‑management skills to achieve results Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity Holds themselves accountable to achieving goals and standards Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization, including suppliers and/or external customers Company Culture SmarterTogether—Collaborating at Sensata means working with some of the world's most talented people in an enriching environment that is constantly pushing towards the next best thing.
