Bilingual Paralegal

In this role, you will support a litigation law firm team, assisting them with various tasks including client intake, legal research, case discovery, legal writing, client liaison, court filings, and legal document preparation. You will join a successful law firm in the US and be assigned to work on personal injury and criminal cases. You'll be working 50 hrs/week during American business hours and get paid weekly. Requirements and Responsibilities: Case management through all stages of litigation, up to and including mediation, settlement, and trial Calendar management, including managing attorney calendar, calendaring deadlines, statutes, coordinating and scheduling depositions, mediations, hearings, and other appearances Experience in filing and e-filing in State, Appellate, and Federal Courts, Experience in propounding and responding to discovery, Experience drafting pleadings, motions, correspondence, memoranda, notices, and other legal documents Experience in case management database(s) and documenting all actions related to case activity Provide excellent customer service while speaking to clients including frequent verbal and written case related updates Provide accurate translation between attorney and clients Qualification & Experience Requirements Experience in criminal law is a must Experience in personal injury is a plus Fluent in advanced American English, written and oral Bachelor's degree in Law or/and a Juris Doctor degree Experience in conducting legal intakes, managing calendars, and scheduling appointments. Experience working as a paralegal to a law firm for 2+ years Experience in legal research, case discovery, and legal writing Experience using legal software like Clio, LexisNexis, MyCase Excellent personal presentation and telephone manner #J-18808-Ljbffr
