OverviewThe Assistant Operations Manager supports day-to-day manufacturing activities and provides leadership to ensure output, quality, and operational targets are met.This role serves as a developmental path toward becoming an operations Manager.Participate in a structured development program to assume future Operations roles.Lead, guide, and motivate team members within the Production Unit to meet operational and project goals.Ensure all team members understand performance objectives and comply with manufacturing specifications, procedures, and production schedules.Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing productivity, improving quality, reducing waste, minimizing rework, optimizing inspection processes, and lowering customer complaints/returns.Plan and optimize daily production activities to achieve output targets (volume and product mix) at the lowest operational cost.Maintain strict control over all Production Unit-related costs.Ensure full compliance with DRP activities and applicable quality standards.Develop and monitor growth plans for Quality Assurance personnel within the unit.Ensure team compliance with all company policies and procedures.Participate in the budgeting process for the Production Unit.Support the performance management process for personnel assigned to the unit.Perform other duties as required.Qualifications — Knowledge RequirementsStrong understanding of global and regional logistics operations.Ability to identify logistics requirements aligned with business goals and develop effective operational strategies.Solid financial and analytical capabilities, including the use of business analytics to determine optimal operational structures.Knowledge of international taxation (direct/indirect) and global customs processes.Proven experience leading successful change management efforts and implementing continuous improvement or cost-reduction programs.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and professional email communication.Education & Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree in engineering; electronics manufacturing-related fields preferred.Minimum 5 years of experience in at least two of the following areas: Manufacturing,Experience in Finance or HR within a high-volume electronics manufacturing environment is a plus.Equivalent combinations of education, experience, and training will be considered.Inside Venue Operations Manager - FIFA World Cup 26™**PLEASE NOTE: ALL RESUMES & APPLICATIONS MUST BE IN ENGLISH**Role Summary:On Location has been appointed as the Official Hospitality Provider of the FIFA World Cup 26™. As the Inside Venue Ops Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of On Location’s hospitality program at your assigned stadium. This role requires strong operational oversight, production management expertise, and close collaboration with internal functional areas and production partners to ensure all commercial products are delivered to standards.Key Responsibilities:Act as the primary point of contact for all Commercial Village work products at the assigned venue, ensuring smooth planning, installation, operation, and dismantling phases in alignment with all On Location FA’s, especially Infrastructure.Oversee day-to-day operations (Bump In, Reset, Bump Out) within the Commercial Villages, ensuring timelines, safety standards, and quality requirements are met.Ensure timely production and updates of diagrams and comply with fire marshal codes/permitting requirements in alignment with the On Location Architecture Team.Coordinate with Infrastructure Supervisor, Venue Manager, Assistant/Deputy Venue Manager, FIFA Venue Manager, and all functional area leads to align operations across the venue.Maintain and monitor a high level and detailed, minute by minute production schedules for activations, installations, and operations in line with FIFA delivery timelines. Serve as the on-site decision maker for Commercial Village operations, escalating issues per the established plan while assessing how unforeseen challenges affect contractor progress and providing real-time solutions to keep the project on schedule and within budget. This role oversees a team of engineers and partners closely with Operations leadership to optimize processes, improve productivity, reduce costs, and deploy advanced technologies.
