FORVIA HELLA is a listed international automotive supplier and part of the FORVIA Group, specializing in high‑performance lighting technology, vehicle electronics and a broad portfolio for the spare parts and workshop business. Job Overview Perform simple repairs, maintenance, improvement and installation of operating equipment, and carry out modification work on operating equipment. Responsibilities A Analysis / Troubleshooting Analyzing and diagnosing simple faults with diagnostic systems; specifying malfunctions in operating equipment fitted with mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components. Establishing and evaluating the current state of individual components, identifying causes of wear and tear. B New Production / Changes Assisting with dismantling, transportation and installation operations; putting new systems, conversions and relocations into service at domestic and foreign production sites. Evaluating production process quality and, when necessary, amending relevant process parameters and user programs within permitted levels of intervention. Producing additional and auxiliary equipment following workshops. C Repairs, Maintenance, Inspection and Improvement Replacing faulty components, bringing operating equipment into service and handing over to Production. Repairing faulty components while considering economic viewpoints. Producing service parts according to drawings, sketches and prototypes. Implementing maintenance, servicing and repair work on operating equipment per available plans. Assisting in determining spare parts and materials (quantity, quality) to guarantee equipment availability. Documenting work in the computer‑supported servicing system (feedback, damage code, fault description). Providing support during dismantling and installation of electrical assemblies. Encouraging measures to optimize maintenance, servicing and repair work (cycles, materials, expenditure) and proposing measures to ensure equipment availability.
