Oversees daily operations, training, and development of associates. Responsible for appraising and disciplining team members. Provides direction to ensure team leaders meet their criteria and policies are followed. Communicates effectively with team members, peers, management, and customers.Ensure compliance with policies and practices.Maintain 5S standards; perform daily verification of items on the 5S checklist.Enforce the use of safety blocks.Follow lockout/tagout procedures.Keep safety curtains and guards in place during operation.Review and suggest improvements to safety environment in assigned areas.Audit part quality throughout the shift.Assist associates with first/last off part quality during changeovers.Verify final visual inspection of all parts leaving the press area for quality, ensuring containment pans are used as specified for batch quantities.Follow proper containment procedures when poor quality is detected.Arrange manpower to meet production requirements.Confirm attendance of team members and report to the group leader.North American Stamping Group is a drug-free and smoke-free workplace. #J-18808-Ljbffr
