Job OverviewProduction Team Leader 3 – CelesticaBand 08 – Ops - Operations – ProductionLocation: Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, MexicoEmployment type: Full‑timeSeniority level: Mid‑SeniorResponsibilitiesContribute to monthly forecasts and own daily/weekly output and quality targets.Manage the performance, motivation and satisfaction of the team and processes to meet key quality, output and efficiency targets.Lead training, skill development and growth to build a multi‑skilled workforce.Conduct return‑to‑work interviews and first‑level disciplinary hearings in a timely, consistent and professional manner.Control operating expenditure such as scrap and consumables.Coordinate resources to meet production quality and quantity metrics.Communicate effectively with a wide variety of internal and external customers.Use PC applications (Word, Lotus Notes, Excel, PowerPoint) as required.Required Skills & CompetenciesIn‑depth knowledge of the production process and related tools and equipment.Understanding of how decisions affect customer satisfaction, product quality, on‑time delivery and profitability.Ability to coordinate resources to meet production goals within tight deadlines.Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.Leadership, training and motivation skills to achieve high production levels in a dynamic environment.Capability to manage more than one production line or customer.Physical DemandsWork in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, machinery and temperature extremes.Requires periodic sustained visual concentration on a computer or detailed data.May require occasional travel.Experience & EducationTypical Experience: 4‑6 years of relevant experience.Typical Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Additional InformationThis job description is not an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities.
