Descripción del trabajo Job Description The Mars Executive Search team is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and assessing executive talent for our most senior executive positions across Mars Inc., including confectionery, pet care, food innovation, and Mars Global Services. The Talent Researcher Executive Search role focuses on locating global talent that recruiters will engage for immediate positions or as part of talent maps for future opportunities. These assignments are delivered worldwide in partnership with business & P&O leaders to inform and educate on critical hiring decisions. Key Responsibilities Identify and present senior‑level talent to the executive search team for specific search assignments and speculative opportunities across Mars Inc. Build pipelines and market maps of highly qualified candidates segmented by company sector and industry that Mars could utilize in the future. Develop an effective and compelling research presentation format for the executive team and Mars leadership, including talent insights such as geographic skill gaps, capabilities maps, org charts, cross‑sector talent reviews, industry & company news, and competitor hiring activity. Help manage administrative duties related to the search process, including status reports, candidate assessments, and timely feedback to the executive search team and business stakeholders. Key Relationships Global Executive Search Director and Executive Search colleagues The Mars Talent Acquisition Team, including TASLT recruiters and sourcers Talent team supporting the executive search team with statistics and data regarding the external talent market. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Experience mapping global talent from varied sources, including social networks, conference speakers & attendees, industry news, referrals, and other appropriate methods. Strong interpersonal relationship building and client management skills, shaping hiring decisions through delivery of robust, credible, and accurate research. Adept at challenging the status quo regarding skills & capabilities across sector & industry. Curious, challenging, adaptable, and passionate about delivering high‑quality work to advance Mars’ journey toward a more inclusive organization. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage change and ambiguity. Interest, passion, and desire to learn the history and complexity of a world‑class privately held company. Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications A credible history of delivering research overviews on tight timelines and deadlines, preferably outside of talent acquisition but with an interest in learning a new research perspective. Experience from an in‑house search team or from the delivery of retained executive search in an agency. Strong project management skills; capable of developing and executing thoughtful recruiting strategies and adapting them as required. A truly engaging and passionate person who can establish rapport quickly, engage executive search & business colleagues, and develop trusted relationships. Competence working both individually and as a team member, supporting and challenging the team to do better. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English being a must.
