The primary responsibility of this role is to provide I&E (instrumentation and electrical) / PCT (process control technology) engineering and leadership services for the preparation and execution of I&E/PCT portions of projects for chemical manufacturing facilities. Responsabilidades principales Contribute to instrumentation and electrical (I&E) and process control technology (PCT) engineering and services for the preparation and execution of I&E and PCT portions of projects for chemical manufacturing facilities; Lead small project PCT teams Preparation of estimates, scopes, specifications, design and other deliverables; Evaluate all PCT aspects of engineering to ensure all project objectives including safety, technical correctness, budget, constructability, schedule, maintainability and operability are met; Interface with other engineering disciplines or departments, customers and vendors or suppliers to ensure successful development and execution of projects; Modify existing or create new I&E or PCT procedures, standards and practices to stay current with technology and implement improved methods. Cualificaciones, Conocimientos, Experiencia y Habilidades Blandas Fluency in English is required. Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university with a strong interest in process control systems; 4 years of experience with chemical facilities in I&E or PCT design and engineering or equivalent experience; Knowledge of field instrumentation and low/medium voltage electrical systems used in industrial processes; Strong computer hardware and software skills; Knowledge of safety systems Knowledge of relevant national international standards in the area of process control, low voltage electrical and instrumentation; Systematic approach to problem definition and solution development; Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to deal with various engineering, maintenance, and operations and suppliers of PCT material and services; Excellent verbal and written skills in order to communicate with and obtain cooperation from team members involved with engineering, design, check out, commissioning and startup; Experience with Intergraph Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI/INtools); Produce, Review and approve I&E and PCT specifications, drawings and other documentation, assist in compiling construction packages.
