QA Automation Engineer

Company: Confidential (Large US Company) Location: 100% Remote Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (40 hours per week) Position Type: Contract, 12-24 hours (Multi-Year/Open-Ended) Position Overview Key Responsibilities 5+ years of design and development experience of automated test scripts using Postman and Newman to verify the functionality, performance, and scalability of software applications. Collaborate with the development and QA teams to identify test requirements and create detailed test cases for automation. Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify and report defects or issues. Participate in test planning and strategy discussions to ensure efficient and effective test coverage. Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues. Maintain and enhance the existing test automation framework and infrastructure. Document test procedures and test results for future reference. Required Skills & Qualifications Proven experience as an Automation Tester with a focus on Cucumber, Selenium, Postman and Newman. Strong knowledge of API testing, RESTful web services, and test automation frameworks. Hands-on experience in designing and developing automated test scripts using Postman and Newman. Experience with version control systems like Git. Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
