OVERVIEW Fastenal Mexico is looking to develop and deploy a new Global Sourcing Team, this is a globally focused opportunity which will support the whole of Fastenal Company. We are seeking motivated individuals looking for long-term success. RESPONSIBILITIES Identifying new suppliers and manufacturers Exploring market conditions for a wide variety of products Communicating with the branches throughout the world to support global sourcing of high‑volume, critical items Establishing procurement of products, communicating with vendors, optimizing sourcing strategy Integrating collected data into our VRM Working closely with our FastCo Asia Team as well as the Global Sourcing Team Conducting inventory and quality analysis in a Just‑In‑Time environment Managing and driving a culture of excellence in customer service and high process‑quality Communicating daily in English REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Possess a current full valid driver’s license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record Possess or are working towards a degree in Business/Marketing OR have related industry experience and knowledge of the local market Experience with technical sourcing/supply chain Willingness to travel throughout Mexico to support new factory opportunities Excellent written and oral communication skills Proficient computer skills Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency Exhibit strong aptitude for sales and a desire to sell Highly motivated, self‑directed and customer service oriented Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs‑50lbs Ability to speak fluent Spanish and English #J-18808-Ljbffr
