Overview As a Buyer, you will play a key role in ensuring uninterrupted production by sourcing and purchasing electronic components, fabricated materials, and indirect supplies. This role is critical to balancing cost, quality, and delivery while partnering closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams in Customer Service, Engineering, Production, and Quality. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Procure electronic components, fabricated parts, and indirect materials in line with specifications and demand. Create, release, and manage purchase orders using ERP/MRP systems. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships; monitor supplier performance on cost, delivery, and quality metrics. Negotiate pricing, lead times, and contract terms to achieve cost savings and secure supply. Work with Customer Service, Engineering, Production, and Quality to resolve material shortages or quality concerns. Ensure accurate purchasing and inventory data within the ERP system. Arrange transportation and logistics for inbound materials. Collaborate with Accounting on invoice reconciliation and returns. Drive and support Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives in the supply chain. Actively participate in cross-functional problem solving and team projects. Maintain compliance with company quality and safety policies. QUALIFICATIONS Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred. And/ Or 2+ years of purchasing experience in manufacturing; electronics/EMS industry preferred. Strong ERP/MRP system experience (Epicor, SAP, Oracle, etc.). Proficiency in Excel Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Highly detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to complete IPC 610J Rev E training (provided). #J-18808-Ljbffr
