Key Responsibilities Plan and execute a weekly and monthly schedule of visits to mechanical workshops and retail within the assigned territory. Present the features, advantages, and benefits of Schaeffler's product portfolio (LuK, INA, FAG, Schaeffler-Vitesco) to mechanics/workshop owners and retail. Build and maintain a strong, long-term relationship with key clients, becoming their trusted technical and commercial advisor. Distribute promotional materials, technical catalogs, and brand merchandise to increase visibility. Generate demand from the end-user (pull strategy) to support the sales efforts of our distribution partners. Represent the Schaeffler brands at local events, trade shows, and technical seminars. Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting guidance on product installation and application. Organize and conduct small on-site training sessions ("clinics") for mechanics on best practices and new technologies. Act as the primary liaison between the workshop and Schaeffler's technical department for more complex issues. Systematically gather and report market feedback, including information on competitor activities, pricing trends, and new opportunities. Collect insights from mechanics and retail regarding product quality, needs, and potential improvements. Prepare and submit regular activity reports using the company's CRM system, detailing visits, key discussions, and follow-up actions. Qualifications High school diploma required. Associate's degree or technical certification in Automotive Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred; a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Marketing also highly valued. Experience Verifiable hands‑on experience in automotive mechanics (e.g., through professional internships, a workshop role, or similar practical experience). Demonstrable experience in customer‑facing roles with direct contact with people (e.g., sales, customer service, technical support). Prior experience visiting and building relationships with mechanical workshops preferred.
