Your new roleAs a Senior Obesity Medical Manager, you will play a critical role in driving Novo Nordisk’s Medical Affairs strategy in our cardiometabolic therapeutic areas. Your key responsibilities will include:Developing and implementing KOL engagement strategies, including Individual Engagement Plans (IEPs) and Advisory BoardsLeading the creation and execution of the local medical plan, aligned with the Global Medical Affairs strategy.Providing medical guidance through training tools, internal training sessions, and strategic collaboration on promotional material.Driving medical education initiatives, including innovative programmes, speaker training, and scientific dialogue with healthcare professionals.Establishing and executing publication plans, including the setup of Local Publication Planning Groups.Supporting clinical activities, such as site and investigator selection, medical support for clinical trials, and managing Investigator‑Sponsored Studies (ISS) proposals.Managing budgets related to pre‑launch activities, cost centres, and new projects in Diabetes Medical Affairs.Your new departmentAs part of International Operations, you will join our largest operational unit. Based at Mexico City our team works closely with internal stakeholders, including Marketing, Sales, Market Access, and Public Affairs, as well as external partners such as Key Opinion Leaders, healthcare professionals, and medical societies. Together, we aim to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and advance the field of diabetes and obesity care.Your Skills and QualificationsWe are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:Need to have:Medical Degree.At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry within a Medical Affairs department, with at least 3 years as a people manager.Advanced English proficiency.Experience in new product medical plan launch implementation.Nice to have:Experience in diabetes and/or obesity, or other metabolic chronic diseases within the pharmaceutical industry.Experience in the public sector.Working at Novo NordiskEvery day we seek the solutions that defeat serious chronic diseases.
