Professional Technical Recruiter at Insight Global LA DAY TO DAY A major publicly traded company in the travel industry is looking for a React Developer to join their technical team that supports revenue generating shipboard systems for their cruise line fleet of over fifteen ships. This particular project is focused on a cashier project related to all the cashier systems aboard the fleet of ships. This role will be very heavily focused on java development including building and maintaining web applications and microservices, creating stand-alone apps, simplifying configuration and expediting the development process leveraging Spring Boot. These applications will connect to Oracle database. They will be mostly internal team facing and will work with business analysts who directly connect with stakeholders aboard ships who support/use the food and beverage and financial based ship-board applications. This person will be remote near-shore and work PST time. MUST HAVES 4+ years of React development experience including proficiency supporting apps in an e-commerce, cashier, food and beverage, financial based/transactional, travel, or credit card related realm 4+ years of experience working with Oracle database Deep comfort level with ai tools especially to create efficiencies and optimization to expedite work Willingness and comfort level to explore emerging technologies PLUSSES Python proficiency (specifically would be used to simulate ship activity in a test environment) AI experience and building ai agents Cruise line industry experience Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Information Technology Industries IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
