Job Details Summary: As a contributing team member the Business Development Analyst will report directly to the Senior Manager of Business Development. The team member is responsible for inbound customer care that involves conventional as well as un-conventional engagement such as digital technology. This position will operate with a fact based and targeted selling approach to uncover distribution and operator voids in our customer plans. This includes development and management with regional staff and brokers to grow the Tyson portfolio with operators and distributors. They will participate in product trainings business reviews and conduct presentations with support from regional field staff on key customers to ensure success in menu development. Responsibilities Lead the mining of multiple data resources to expose gaps and opportunities within certain operators and distributors Create and improve purchases of products through our distribution and operator network Assist in creating sales strategies for key markets and in conducting product training sessions with operators distributors and or manufacturers Assist in monitoring and communicating of distributor and operator progress or lack of towards designated target goals and initiatives Build and maintain relationships with Tyson Convenience SAMs broker community and key stakeholders in distribution centers including in person visits. Explore new opportunities to interact with operators using technology Requirements Education: Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience Experience: Minimum 1 year sales experience. Outside sales preferred Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to conduct sales presentations. Technology Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office products and proficient with digital technology Special Skills: Ability to work independently and as a team player in addition to making good business decisions under the direction of manager; demonstrates strong leadership skills. Result oriented issue resolution relationship building. Strong company knowledge and a deep understanding of our informal processes and structure as we improve the customer experience.
