The Transport Coordinator ensures and corrdinates the implementation, monitoring and analysis of the transport activity. He/she secures the application of the defined transport plan, process and contracts taking into consideration constraints, safety, quality and cost requirements as well as performance. He/she coordinates the transport spent, relation with carriers and interface with internal customers and procurement. Contributes to continuous improvement and projects. Secures a market surveillence in order to permanently adjust solutions.
ACTIVITIES
- Write techincal specification in collaboration with the sites in order to implement adapted solutions, at right cots.
- Participate to transport call for tenders and support scoring and reliability of the technical solution and rate offer together with the procurement department. He/se is involved in the contract adjustment with carriers.
- Secures tracks transport budget on the defined perimeter. Manage freight audit and adjustment by carriers. Analyse gaps from the busget.
- Secures the internal defined procedures are respected. Identify new needs or changes requests, and mnage the process adjustment when needed.
- Analyse and manage deviations, damage and loss in collaborations with the sites, and support Legal Management in the follow up and resolution.
- Validate packing sheets.
- Built and share KPI, activity reports in the defined perimeter with his manager. Comments to the respective sites and with carriers in order to define actions.
