Liquidity Analytics Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Liquidity Analytics Manager. Role Purpose The role sits within the Group Treasury, Liquidity team which is responsible for safeguarding and optimising the Group's balance sheet and ensuring the Group's entities adhere to the liquidity risk management framework. The purpose of this role is to provide high quality, timely and accurate MI and analytics to Group Treasury on the liquidity position across the group. This will include monitoring entity performance against the liquidity risk framework and also analysis on the consolidated Group position. This role is also involved in designing and implementing the MI transformation to help drive strategic direction and support stakeholder queries. Main Activities The design, delivery and maintenance of an effective MI data to support liquidity reporting requirements Analyse liquidity across the group and provide key driver analysis assessing linkages between entity and impact on overall Group position On-going Interpretation of group-wide MI and provide succinct coherent commentary to Group Treasury stakeholders, including the Group Treasurer Support the enhancement of liquidity risk methodologies through data analysis and modelling Write papers for key committees including the ALCO and other senior management meetings as required End to end management of the data quality management process Understanding the data linkages within the data sources Ensuring business requirements are delivered and implemented in an accurate and timely manner, supporting change delivery in line with defined project plans Supporting the wider team in liquidity management processes Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with other Group and regional teams Knowledge and Experience Strong knowledge of Liquidity risk measurement and management beyond regulatory prescribed principles Understanding appropriate areas of key liquidity measures as per the Group Framework (ILM, LCR, NSFR, PRA110, and other secondary monitoring metrics), Bank financial systems, related business areas, products and their strategic drivers Ability to work independently, manage offshore resources and influence key stakeholders to ensure there is alignment on the delivery of key initiatives. Experience in data quality management and remediation Strong data/Systems background or a strong risk data or regulatory reporting background is essential Experienced SAS and / or SQL data analytical tools / python Strong data analytical skills Well-developed capacity to process high volumes of complex information and synthesise key themes and issues Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with highly developed capacity to influence other stakeholders Proven experience working across business, regional and country dynamics. Understands how conflicts can be managed to deliver assigned tasks Resilient.
