Record to Report Fixed Assets Senior AnalystHow will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? The Senior Accountant reports directly to the FA Team Lead. The primary function is to be responsible for a wide range of Fixed assets tasks, including financial D&A analysis, reporting, reconciliations, and compliance. The Senior Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Team Lead in those activities highlighted as Critical and sensitive to the operation. The Senior Analyst will also provide support to the accounting Team Lead by working as focal point of certain activities and providing a clear status/summary of what has been done.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for Monthly Project Commitment and Expenditure reporting. Close Project accounting module and Fixed Assets module.Responsible for capitalization, closure, supplement and decommitment of projects according to policies.Works with project managers to break-out large projects into components and capitalize accordingly.On a monthly basis, prepares and analyzes capitalized interest schedule and records related journal entries.Responsible for reviewing, posting, and logging of journal entries necessary for month‑end close and for one‑off adjustments.Responsible for owning monthly reconciliation of assigned accounts, including research and follow‑up.Responsible for preparation of quarterly reports due to Air Liquide Head Office, including analysis on depreciation variations.Assists with Target and Reforecast.Assists with both internal and external audit requests.Prepare update own Capacity file in order to list the activities performed and the time consumed by each of them.Prepare and update detailed mapping process file and share it with the management.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.Experience/Certifications: 6+ years accounting experience, Certified accountant, Oracle experience highly desirable, SAP experience is a plus.Language Requirements: English: Advanced proficiency required [B2/C1]; Spanish mandatory.Knowledge and Skills: Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS); ability to manage a team with significant expertise; solid understanding of financial analysis and statistics; advanced skills in Google Suite; strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills; continuous improvement mindset for process improvements.Our Differences make our Performance.
