Posted Friday, January 9, 2026 at 7:00 AM PURPOSE The Data Analyst II will contribute to the Business Intelligence team by supporting one of our BI Managers, who leads analytics efforts for a specific business domain such as sales, finance, or operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a senior team member, gaining exposure to strategic analytics initiatives while taking ownership of foundational tasks that drive business insight. The analyst will be responsible for enhancing existing datasets, building dashboards using trusted data sources, and collaborating on new reporting concepts. Through this partnership, the Data Analyst II will deepen their technical skills, develop business acumen, and grow into more advanced analytics responsibilities over time. ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & OUTCOMES Dataset Enhancement & Maintenance Modify and extend existing datasets to support evolving business needs (e.g., adding new dimensions or metrics). Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting layers. Dashboard Development Build and maintain Power BI dashboards based on validated data sources. Apply visualization best practices to support business decision-making. Collaborative Analytics Support Work closely with Business Intelligence Managers to explore new reporting concepts and prototype solutions. Assist in translating business questions into analytical approaches. Governance & Access Control Apply existing security models to ensure appropriate access and visibility across dashboards and datasets. Manage user access to reporting assets in alignment with established governance policies. Documentation & Process Support Maintain clear documentation for datasets, dashboards, and reporting logic. Follow organizational standards for naming conventions, version control, and process consistency. Business Engagement Respond to requests from business stakeholders for data pulls, report updates, and dashboard enhancements. Communicate clearly and professionally with non-technical users. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Technical Skills Proficiency in SQL for querying and enhancing datasets. Experience with Power BI for building dashboards and visualizations. Familiarity with Databricks or similar cloud-based data platforms is a plus. Data Integrity & Governance Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy and consistency. Understanding of workspace and report-level access controls and ability to apply existing security models within BI tools. Analytical Thinking Ability to interpret business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions. Comfortable working with financial, sales, and operational data in a logistics context. Collaboration & Communication Effective communicator with the ability to work closely with Business Intelligence Managers and cross‑functional teams. Capable of presenting findings and updates clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Process Orientation Organized and methodical in documenting datasets, dashboards, and reporting logic. Adheres to established standards for naming conventions, version control, and process consistency. Growth Mindset Eager to learn from senior team members and expand technical and business knowledge. Open to feedback and proactive in seeking opportunities to improve and contribute. QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, Finance, or a related field; equivalent work experience or specialized certifications will also be considered. 1–3 years of professional experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence. Demonstrated experience working with financial, sales, or operational data, preferably in a logistics or supply chain context. Job experience with Power BI dashboard development, data modeling, and report publishing. Exposure to Databricks or similar cloud-based data. Proficiency in SQL for querying and enhancing datasets used in reporting and analysis. Familiarity with enterprise BI environments and collaborative analytics workflows.
