Team Lead Data Annotator

About the Role We are seeking a “Team Lead” to join our Annotation’s Leaderboard. You will oversee and manage the individuals working on Video Annotation. This role involves daily leadership, project management, quality assurance, and continuous process improvement. This person will be required to work rotational shifts (some overnights) as well as in our Mexico City (CDMX) office location each day. What You’ll Do Product Oversight: Assess scalability of annotation processes and improve efficiency. Team Management: Lead up to 20 people, maintain morale and a productive culture. Communication: Conduct weekly and biweekly sessions with the POD and translate product knowledge to the team. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with Product, Engineering, and R&D on side projects. Performance Monitoring: Assess individual and team performance and drive results. Training & Development: Identify training needs and support team members. Process Improvement: Gather feedback to continuously improve processes. Work Under Pressure: Manage multiple projects in parallel with tight deadlines. Leave Management: Process employee time‑off requests. What We’re Looking For BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or business. Experience in a similar role, product or project management. Knowledge of SQL and G Suite. Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex information to the team. People management skills, empathy, and a diagnostic approach to stakeholders. Leadership, time management, decision making, analytical skills, and strong follow‑up.
