We are seeking a skilled Trade Accountant to join our accounting team in Mexico City. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and demonstrate a strong commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting. Job Responsibilities Reconcile daily profit and loss (P&L) for physical and financial commodity trades across multiple CTRM systems Record, validate, and maintain transactions within the NetSuite general ledger Partner with trading, operations, and finance teams to investigate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring timely and accurate reporting Assist with month-end close processes, including preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and variance analyses Proactively identify opportunities to enhance efficiency through process improvements and automation initiatives. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Banking or a related field. 3-5 years of accounting experience; energy/commodities/trading/ banking or finance industry preferred Strong understanding of trade accounting with hands‑on P&L reconciliation Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas); VBA a plus Familiarity with CTRM systems and NetSuite preferred Highly detail‑oriented, technologically proficient, and adept at working a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment Proficient English - Proven C1 or higher level.
