Real Estate Underwriter & Financial Analyst – Real Hires Bring clarity to the numbers. Help guide smart real estate decisions. We’re looking for a highly analytical and proactive financial professional to join us as a Real Estate Underwriter & Financial Analyst. In this role, you’ll play a key part in evaluating new investments, analyzing property performance, and supporting asset management across a growing portfolio. What You’ll Do Analyze financials, assess risks, and evaluate new opportunities with a sharp eye for detail. Support Asset Management: review monthly income and expenses, identify trends, and recommend ways to optimize portfolio performance. Build Financial Models That Drive Decisions: use Excel to create dynamic tools, reports, and models that evolve with the business. Turn Questions Into Insights: take verbal requests and turn them into clear, actionable analysis—without waiting for formal report templates. Think Critically & Improve How We Use Data: suggest better ways to structure, visualize, and interpret financial information so the team can make smarter choices. Partner With Leadership: work closely with decision‑makers on acquisitions, underwriting, and ongoing asset management. Solve Problems Before They Happen: anticipate issues, think through scenarios, and present thoughtful solutions. What You Bring Proven experience in real estate finance, underwriting, or asset management. Multi‑family real estate experience is required. Advanced proficiency in Excel – comfortable building models and presenting insights. Ability to understand complex financial concepts and translate them into clear, actionable ideas. A detail‑oriented, analytical mindset with strong numerical intuition. Proactive, self‑directed work style—no need for micromanagement. Experience with real estate investment, asset management, or an accounting firm’s real estate team. Familiarity with essential real estate and financial software. A resourceful, adaptable critical thinker who can foresee challenges and plan ahead.
