Position Scrum Master Location Mexico City, Mexico Overview Qualitest is seeking a results‑driven Scrum Master to join our team on‑site in Mexico City. The ideal candidate will be a skilled facilitator with a proven track record of guiding agile development teams, managing project timelines, and maintaining high client satisfaction. This role is crucial for ensuring team efficiency, removing impediments, and driving continuous improvement in our development processes. Responsibilities Serve as the Agile process authority for the team, focusing on maximizing team velocity and project value delivery. Lead and facilitate Agile teams using the Scrum framework, including organizing and running all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand‑ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives). Proactively identify, communicate, and eliminate roadblocks or blockers, and coach the team to resolve impediments internally. Monitor project timelines, progress, and capacity, using key metrics to report status and forecast completion dates. Promptly identify, communicate, and escalate risks to stakeholders and management. Engage key stakeholders effectively to align expectations, provide transparent status updates, and maintain high client satisfaction through proactive communication. Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to control scope, refine the product backlog, and ensure user stories are clear, concise, and ready for development. Coach and mentor teams and individuals on Agile principles and Scrum best practices to enhance overall maturity and performance. Participate actively in daily team activities and project tasks to maintain a deep understanding of ongoing work and challenges. Requirements Experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager in a technical environment. Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and the ability to differentiate and apply principles from Waterfall approaches when necessary. Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and a highly collaborative mindset. Excellent verbal and written communication, strong interpersonal skills, and proven mentoring capabilities. Proven adaptability and focus when operating in dynamic, fast‑paced environments with potential distractions. Highly skilled in analytical thinking and quick decision‑making under pressure. Proven track record of success facilitating teams using Agile methodologies. Preferred Qualifications Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification.
