About The Role We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Software Engineer to lead advanced automation and AI-driven testing strategies for software and firmware products. In this role, you will ensure the highest standards of quality, reliability, and innovation, directly impacting the performance and customer experience of Carrier’s cutting‑edge solutions. Key Responsibilities Leading the design, development, and implementation of advanced automated testing frameworks for software and firmware products. Evaluating, selecting, and integrating AI-driven tools and methodologies to enhance test coverage, defect detection, and QA efficiency. Collaborating closely with Scrum teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and quality goals for complex features and releases. Architecting and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines with automated quality gates and reporting. Mentoring and guiding junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence. Analyzing test results, identifying root causes, and driving resolution of complex defects in partnership with development teams. Developing and maintaining comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, cases, scripts, and automation assets. Championing best practices in software quality, risk management, and agile QA processes. Staying current with industry trends in automation, AI, and QA methodologies, and proactively recommending improvements. Participating in Scrum ceremonies, providing expert insights on QA progress, risks, and opportunities. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in software and firmware quality assurance, with a strong focus on automation. Proven expertise in designing and implementing automated test frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Robot Framework). Hands‑on experience with AI/ML-powered testing tools (e.g., model‑based testing, intelligent test generation, anomaly detection). Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Java, or similar). Deep understanding of system, regression, and performance testing methodologies. Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and version control systems. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration abilities. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes. Advanced English (spoken and written). Preferred Qualifications ISTQB or equivalent QA certification. Experience with AI-driven QA innovations and DevOps best practices. Benefits Comprehensive health insurance.
