Main Purpose Of The Role A NOC Specialist is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting an organization's network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and uptime. They serve as the first line of defense against network disruptions and play a critical role in maintaining business continuity. Required Skills/Abilities/Competencies Fluent English language skills required: verbal and written communication. Self‑motivated and disciplined. Good understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Basic understanding of IT infrastructure concepts (computing, cloud, networking). Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, Auvik). Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix). Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills. Ability to work in high‑pressure, 24/7 environments. Mobility, willingness to learn and enjoy working on projects. Ethical and critical thinking. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time‑management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to prioritize tasks. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Education And Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Entry‑level roles (1–2 years in IT support or networking); senior roles demand deeper expertise.
