Job Title Cost Accounting Specialist Job Description This position plays a key role in managing cost accounting processes and overseeing the entire fixed assets lifecycle. The successful candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, support budgeting and forecasting activities, and deliver strategic insights into cost structures and asset utilization. Analyzing and reporting manufacturing costs, variances, and margins to support decision-making is a crucial aspect of this role. Maintaining and updating standard costs within the enterprise resource planning system is also essential. The candidate must perform monthly cost roll-ups and reconcile inventory accounts accurately. Providing cost data and analysis to support budgeting and forecasting processes is another important responsibility. Conducting cost-benefit analyses and identifying opportunities for cost optimization are also key tasks. This role requires strong collaboration with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to drive efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement. Technical Attributes and Experience A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred). At least 7 years of experience in cost accounting and fixed asset management. Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost flows and asset accounting principles. Proficiency in enterprise resource planning systems, specifically SAP. Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI. Advanced English proficiency. Familiarity with corporate financial policies, internal controls, and audit processes.
