Set a course for adventure with Princess Cruises Our fleet offers exceptional facilities, professional development, and recreational programs for teammates from over 60 countries.Department: GalleyLocation: Mexico - IHRAs a member of the Princess Family, you'll enjoy an adventurous career with incentives, growth opportunities, and breathtaking ports of call.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure product quality by monitoring tastings and inspecting mise en place.Supervise food production, give instructions, and maintain standards and minimal spoilage.Oversee product delivery, quality, and presentation.Supervise Galley Staff during operations, ensuring compliance with procedures.Participate in daily meetings and organize staff meetings.Control food consumption, portions, and costs.Think strategically with a focus on financial results.Train staff in production methods, techniques, and presentation.Provide training to new or first-contract staff.Maintain knowledge of health standards and ensure compliance.Skills, Knowledge & ExpertiseAt least five years of culinary experience, including two years as Demi Chef de Partie in high-volume settings.Cruise ship experience preferred.Deep knowledge of international cuisines, USPH/HACCP, and food management.Formal culinary qualification.Ability to supervise multicultural teams.Proficient in MS Office and related software.Good English communication skills.BenefitsOffers shared accommodations, meals, amenities, and extensive learning and recreational programs.
