Cost Accounting Specialist

Job description The Cost Accounting Specialist is responsible for driving financial transparency and supporting strategic decision-making within the Supply Chain. This role focuses on analyzing financial data, ensuring compliance, and contributing to cross-functional projects through insightful cost and budget assessments. Key Responsibilities Analyze and explain key variances in profit and loss statements and balance sheet accounts Collaborate with Supply Chain teams to evaluate the financial impact of ongoing and new initiatives Maintain organized historical financial data to support budgeting and forecasting activities Identify and differentiate between recurring and non-recurring financial transactions Support month-end closing activities, addressing and resolving related issues Monitor and manage capital expenditures through internal order tracking Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, or BSBA major in Accounting At least 1 year of relevant experience in the following areas: Financial management and reporting Spare parts and capital expenditure tracking Financial modeling, analysis, and advisory Accruals, particularly for transportation and warehousing Proficiency in SAP is highly preferred Willing to be assigned in Bicutan (Parañaque) or Canlubang (Laguna) #J-18808-Ljbffr
