Senior Software Engineer (Python/Django) We’re looking for a Senior Python/Django Engineer to drive full-stack development on an innovative web platform used by developers worldwide. You’ll work with distributed teams to deliver high-quality features, ensuring robust engineering practices and maintainable code powered by Wagtail CMS. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend features using Python, Django, and Wagtail CMS. Integrate static and dynamic content to support documentation, community resources, and project updates. Collaborate with designers and maintainers to translate the new site architecture into production-ready code. Optimize site performance and ensure scalability for a large open-source audience. Maintain clean, tested, and well-documented code throughout the engagement. Core Requirements 5-7+ years of experience with Python and Django. Familiarity with static site generation or hybrid architectures. Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in distributed teams. Nice to Have Experience contributing to open-source projects or technical documentation sites. Experience with Wagtail CMS or Django CMS. Familiarity with the Boost C++ community or C++ developer ecosystems. Familiarity with the Mailman3 mailing list management system. Why Join Kake?
