We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as a Platform Engineering Lead, Monitoring Telemetry and Observability Platform
What you’ll do:
- Maintain high standards of performance, reliability, and scalability of the platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate new technologies and improve platform functionality.
- Proven track record of getting things done in complex organizations.
- Strengthen relationships with stakeholders and gather feedback to enhance platform performance.
- Enforce compliance with healthcare and technology industry standards.
- Lead projects to expand and improve platform capabilities using innovative technological solutions.
- Manage the adoption of new technologies to advance service quality and operational efficiency
Preferred experience:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, and/or Management Information Systems from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
-6+ years of more experience with Agile methods / methodologies, and leading SCRUM / Lean / Kanban teams.
-15+ years or more of relevant professional experience as a technology engineer, with 7+ years in a role managing platform teams.
-Knowledge of information management practices, regulatory requirements and global data privacy laws related to the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven knowledge of IT Service Management, Service Operations, and Service Release (ITIL v4 and ITSM).
-Working knowledge of DevOps CI/CD technologies and lifecycle.
-Demonstrated knowledge of Cloud IaaS and PaaS technology environments (AWS and Azure preferred).
-Demonstrated experience and knowledge of micro-services concepts, API integration enablement, container technologies and services (Kubernetes based preferred).
-10+ years of experience enabling telemetry, monitoring, and observability environments using leading APM / AIOPS solutions (Splunk, AppDynamics, ThousandEyes, ServiceNow preferred).
-5+ years of experience using public cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure required).
-Proven experience with platform engineering automation lifecycle, leveraging infrastructure as code, configuration management, orchestration, modern patterns, APIs, and site reliability engineering concepts.
-Experience with scripted deployment process, tools, and lifecycle (i.e. Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Python).
