HPDC Tooling Design EngineerObjectiveThe position is needed for both product development and technical support of the HPDC tooling operation in Monterrey.Main ResponsibilitiesOverseeing the design, development, and implementation of die cast tools and equipment used in the die cast manufacturing process.Manage a team of engineers and designers, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality tooling.Their duties include creating and implementing tooling designs for new product, optimizing existing tooling for quality and performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support development.HPDC process engineering knowledge is required.Position RequirementsSkilled in the use of CAD design tools such as Catia, Magma and NX for tool designUnderstanding of the toolmaking process including tool steel selection and fabrication.Knowledge of large high pressure die cast machines (1600 to 4500 ton and larger )Understanding of simulation software (Thermal and flow) used to understand the cast processEnglish proficient.
