Job Description Accounts Receivable Accountant About the team: ZF is a global technology company supplying advanced mobility products and systems for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and industrial technology. ZF electrifies a wide range of vehicle types. With its products, the company contributes to reducing emissions, protecting the climate as well as enhancing safe mobility. This position oversees AR management, collections, invoicing, reconciliations, and month‑end close while ensuring compliance and maintaining strong customer relationships. What you can look forwards to as Accounts Receivable Accountant Maintain AR past‑due balances within acceptable levels while proactively leading collection efforts. Interact professionally with both international and domestic customers to resolve account matters. Perform credit analysis to support customer risk evaluations and credit decisions. Create third‑party and intercompany invoices, credit memos, and customer account statements. Verify, apply, and properly record customer payments in a timely manner. Perform AR account reconciliations, including complex intercompany transactions. Assist with the month‑end close process to ensure accurate financial reporting. Maintain excellent relationships with third‑party customers and ZF Mexican operating units while ensuring all reporting deadlines and corporate accounting policies are met. Your profile as Accounts Receivable Accountant Accounting or Administration degree 2‑5 years Accounts Receivable experience Candidates with AR enough experience, but unfinished college degree accepted Strong computer, analytical problem solving and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Very Good computer skills using MS Office; Knowledge of SAP or QAD systems is a plus MX and US GAAP knowledge. 70‑90% Bilingual English/Spanish. Experience managing process of Mexican e‑invoicing requirements (CFDI’s) The successful candidate must have high legal and ethical standards and maintain a focus on continuous process improvement and excellent customer service in a demanding work environment.
